Every dog’s story, painted with heart
Every dog has a story, and I love helping to tell it through art. My work goes beyond likeness; I aim to capture the personality, quirks and character that make each dog truly unique. Whether in rich, expressive oils or detailed coloured pencil, every portrait is created with care, patience and a deep appreciation for the bond we share with our dogs.
My Story
Art has always been part of my life, but in 2021 it became something deeper. When my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour, painting became my way to cope a quiet space to process the heartbreak and hold on to moments of light. He passed away just four months later, leaving me with one simple piece of advice: “Never stop painting.” I carry those words with me every day.
Now, I pour that love and purpose into creating artwork that brings joy, comfort and connection. I’ve rediscovered my passion for capturing one of my favourite subjects dogs and there is something truly special about bringing a beloved pet to life on canvas or paper.
In memory of my dad, I donate a percentage of every sale to Brain Tumour Research. His encouragement lives on in every piece I create.
